How We Approach Your Project
A Fence Should Be Built for Your Property
Every property is different. Grade changes, soil conditions, gate locations, pets, privacy needs, traffic and the intended use of the fence can affect the right material and installation approach.
1. Understand the Need
We start with how you plan to use the fence—privacy, pets, security, property boundaries, livestock, appearance or access.
2. Match the Fence to the Property
We consider layout, terrain, gates and material choices so the finished fence fits the property instead of forcing a one-size-fits-all solution.
3. Professional Installation
We focus on correct installation and a clean finished result, with applicable manufacturer warranty information available for manufactured materials.
Why Hooks Fence Company
Serving Northeast Alabama Since 2005
Hooks Fence Company is a Boaz, Alabama fence company owned by Kevin Hooks and serving Northeast Alabama since 2005. The company works with homeowners, farms, businesses and other properties that need fencing planned around the way the property will actually be used.
Rather than treating every project the same, we consider terrain, grade changes, privacy, pets, security, vehicle access and gate locations when recommending a fence layout. Our work includes everyday residential fencing as well as custom gates, commercial chain-link, utility enclosures, agricultural fencing and difficult sloped installations.
The photographs throughout this website are actual Hooks Fence Company projects. They show the materials, terrain and finished work customers can expect—not stock fence photography.
We install manufactured fencing products according to applicable fencing standards and manufacturer requirements, and we explain the applicable material and installation warranty information for the products used on your project.
Our Warranty Approach
Manufactured materials are covered by the applicable manufacturer warranties, with details available for each product. Wood products are warranted for proper installation according to national fencing standards.
If a product is installed incorrectly, labor associated with correcting the installation is included under the installation warranty. Manufacturer product failures may require customer payment of reinstallation costs.

Frequently Asked Questions
What type of fence is best for my property?
It depends on what the fence needs to do. Privacy, pets, security, appearance, maintenance, terrain and budget can point toward different materials. We can help compare wood, vinyl, ornamental and chain-link options.
Can you install fence on sloped or uneven ground?
Many fence systems can be adapted to changing grades. The correct approach depends on the material, fence style and severity of the slope.
What is the difference between galvanized and black chain-link fence?
Both provide durable containment. Galvanized chain link has a traditional metallic finish, while black-coated chain link has a darker appearance that often blends more naturally into residential landscapes.
Does Hooks Fence Company install gates?
Yes. Gate planning is an important part of the fence layout, including pedestrian and driveway access for appropriate fence systems.
Do fence materials have warranties?
Manufactured materials may carry manufacturer warranties, with details depending on the product. Hooks Fence Company also stands behind correct installation as described in our warranty information. Read our warranty approach.
